Our Environmental Sector delivers comprehensive environmental solutions to meet the full project lifecycle needs of clients in renewable energy, oil - gas, transportation, and manufacturing industries. With one of the largest multimedia air and land permitting and compliance teams in the country, we support client success in manufacturing and industry, liquids delivery and processing, natural gas storage and delivery, power generation and delivery, and transportation projects.
POSITION SUMMARY
TRC is seeking an on-call Principal Investigator for Cultural Resources in our Planning, Permitting, and Licensing Practice (PPL). This individual will be reporting to and/or be based in our Portland, Oregon or Milwaukie, Oregon offices. Remote work status is possible. Candidate must already be a qualified archaeologist in Oregon or meets the requirements to become a qualified Archaeologist in Oregon.
The position will work closely with other environmental and cultural resources staff in TRC-s PPL Practice to further develop TRC's cultural resource program on the west coast.
We are seeking an individual enthusiastic about cultural resource management and historic preservation with a strong commitment to client service and technical excellence. This position will require some travel based on client project needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - TASKS
The successful candidate will assist in managing agency, client and tribal relationships, marketing, and proposal development; assist and advise other cultural resources staff; and direct and manage large and complex cultural resources projects including fieldwork and report preparation.
