Job DescriptionThe Senior Product Engineer is an essential member of the Product Engineering Team. The primary objective of this role is to lead Cornerstone Building Brand's focus on innovation and problem solving for the building industry. This role will focus on creative ways to meet ever-changing customer requirements, with a primary concentration on new product development and improved performance. In addition, the Senior Product Engineer will discover, lead, and implement revenue generating and cost savings initiatives.
The Senior Product Engineer works directly with window and door products. There is plenty of hands-on work, and ample opportunities for visibility and recognition at multiple levels within the organization. Personal development and advancement opportunities are highly encouraged and supported both within the department as well as within the organization as a whole.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The work environment is primarily a typical office environment with frequent work in the manufacturing plant for the purpose of running tests, monitoring new & existing products, and working with manufacturing personnel. Occasional standing and walking for extended periods of time is required. Occasional visits to active construction sites is required. Standing, climbing, crouching, crawling, and lifting (up to 50lbs) may also be required. Reasonable accommodations can be made for persons with disabilities.

QualificationsEDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required (Mechanical Engineering preferred).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000 to $110,000 + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.)
